New OS X?

I have heard rumors of a new version of os x, possibly called jaguar, to come out at the end of this year. I was just wondering if anyone else has heard any news about this yet. -Xian

    Jaguar came out 4 years ago. Maybe that is an outdated rumor you read?

        Yes, Apple has said that Lepard will be out late 2006 or early 2007, but these things can always slip. The rumors are that there will be substantial improvements to the Finder. I get the feeling it will not be as big an update as Tiger was, and I also have a hunch the 2007 date is more likely. Probably they will try to both time it and have features that are designed to take attention off of Vista at a strategic moment, so anything could happen.
