I'm playing with kqueue / kevent to determine the limits of server scaleability using this method. I've a dumb question, though -- when I get a kevent, its' ident field has the source of that which sourced the event e.g. a file / socket / pipe / etc. How do I arrive at the filename / socket / pipe from that identifier?

I feel like this should be in "BSD 101", but i'm still clueless.
